Mode of Action
PLANTA acts as a dual-action insecticide, where Novaluron primarily functions as an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) by disrupting the insect’s molting process by inhibiting chitin synthesis, while Emamectin Benzoate acts as a neurotoxin, interfering with the insect’s nervous system, leading to paralysis and death; essentially targeting both the insect’s development and its immediate nervous system function.
