Mode of Action
IRONMATE (Fe- EDTA 12%) is a highly effective EDTA chelated micronutrient fertilizer that will correct Iron shortage problems in a wide variety of crops. Iron is one of the most important micro nutrients and is involved in chlorophyll formation, energy transfer, enzymes and nitrogen fixation. High soil pH, anaerobic soils and low organic matter reduces Iron availability. It is also required for chemical reduction of nitrate and sulphate and in nitrogen assimilation.
