Mode of Action
AXON 505 acts as a contact and stomach poison, with Chlorpyrifos inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase in the insect’s nervous system, causing paralysis and death, while Cypermethrin disrupts the sodium channels in the nerve cells, leading to hyperexcitation and muscle paralysis, effectively targeting a wide range of insects through both modes of action.
