Mode of Action
K-40 PLUS insecticide works by disrupting the insect’s central nervous system through two primary mechanisms, Fipronil blocks GABA receptors, while Imidacloprid acts as a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist, essentially causing nerve signal disruption and leading to insect paralysis and death; both components offer both contact and ingestion toxicity, making it effective against a broad range of sucking and chewing insects.
