Mode of Action
SAINIK kills fungal cells through inhibition of cell membrane biosynthesis and cellular respiration. SAINIK inhibits the ergosterol biosynthesis (steroid demethylation inhibitor). It controls the target fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of sterols in fungus, thus affecting their normal growth. SAINIK is rapidly absorbed by the plant and, by its systemic action, translocate’s in the whole plant. Index dual-action can be used to prevent & control Powdery mildew. The index has the lowest waiting period among other powdery mildewcide
