Mode of Action
ZATAK acts as a systemic insecticide, meaning it moves through the plant’s vascular system, and its mode of action is by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect’s nervous system, disrupting nerve signals and leading to paralysis and death of the target insect when they feed on the treated plant or come into contact with it; essentially, it acts as a neurotoxin by interfering with the insect’s nerve communication.
