Mode of Action
ZINCMATE (Zn-EDTA 12%) is water soluble chelated micronutrient fertilizer for effective correction of Zinc deficiency, as well as a source of Zinc for those plants which require Zinc for their normal growth and higher yields. Zinc deficiency is most widely spread in Indian soils. It is common in high pH, calcareous and low organic matter content soils. Some of the functions of Zinc are enzyme activation, pH regulation, protein synthesis and for ensuring seed quality and uniform maturity and the formation of chlorophyll. Zinc deficiencies will have a detrimental effect on the size, structure and development of plant cells.
